Hiking out West. . .

Well, I have not posted in a bit and for that I do apologize. Around a month ago my family went on a vacation out West,we had a total blast!!!  My favorite adventure of the whole trip was definitely the hiking around Jenny Lake. The views were picturesque and the company was fantastic! We made so many memories: passing the last water bottle around and proportioning the sips, tripping over large boulders, hearing strange noises echo in the trees, laughing so hard our bellies hurt.
Overall it was a wonderful day!

These little guys were so cute and this one followed us for awhile.

Summer break is here. . .

My Sophomore year has been completed and summer break has begun!
I was not very diligent in updating my blog this past semester of school, and I do apologize. I was honestly very busy with school and such.

The school year ended off with a fun college activity to Greenfield Village in Dearborn, Michigan.
I had never been before and was anxious to spend half a day roaming around in a small town set in the 1800's.  From railroad junctions, to Edison's workshop, Henry Ford's Model T and much more.

The weather was absolutely perfect!

I loved this windmill!

Edison's actual workshop where all his inventions were made.

All in all it was a very enjoyable day!
The college students have returned home and work, work, work, is what I have planned for this summer.  I will definitely be posting more during summer.

Amazing family!

Happy Easter everyone!! :)
I know, I know, a little late, but better late than never, right? I really am busy with school work, ministries, and work, true story.
I find I am most happy when my whole family is here including: Mom, Dad, Brooke, Nicole, Jack, and also Matthew! And this Easter they were all at my house! I absolutely loved it! I could have probably had an emotional melt down as we all sat around in the living room playing a board game. I looked around at everyone. My amazing parents whom I am so thankful for! My eldest sister and my brother, there love story is incredible and such a blessing.  My other sister Brooke who I believe makes the most incredible teacher in Ohio and whom I miss terribly. And lastly Matthew, my wonderful boyfriend!

Fun Times. . .

So much has happened this past month and a half. My sisters Brooke, Nicole, and my brother Jack came up one weekend and we were able to catch up! I always enjoy having my whole family here, we have such a blast! We also were able to get some good pictures since my favorite photographers were in town! :)

It was a beautiful, snowy winter afternoon!

Love these two!

So thankful for sisters. . .

Than a couple weeks ago the college went on a activity to Michigan for the day where we went tubing in the snow. I was not able to participate in the activity since I am still recovering from my surgery but we still had a great time! It was absolutely gorgeous outside. The weather was perfect, the sun was shining, there was a good amount of snow on the ground. Everything made for a wonderful afternoon!

A Great Stay. . .

This past week Brooke and I had the privilege to go visit my eldest sister and awesome brother-in-law. It was such a great stay filled with crazy sister pictures, yummy yummy food, lots of catching up, nail painting, putting late night face masks on, a full game of monopoly, and last but not least making popcorn in a whirley pop.  :)
I love my sister and brother so much and was sad to leave their adorable abode!

Love these beautiful girls so much!

Aren't they just so cute? ;)  Jack treats my sister like a princess and as her sister I can't ask for anything more than that.

Never have I played monopoly all the way through, but I absolutely loved it! :)

Your mouth is watering is it not? :)

Brooke and I kinda got carried away :)

Brooke didn't get the memo to just act normal!

Thanks Jack and Nicole for giving us a great stay!
